Recognition of higher education credentials from abroad is a time-consuming process. You should apply as early as possible! A Norwegian recognition of your educational background is meant to support your foreign diplomas on the job market: it is easier for an employer to understand your qualifications if they are "translated" into the Norwegian educational system. Another reason to obtain a recognition is to find out whether you need further training for employment in Norway.
