Examples of residence permits

Residence permit for foreign national who comes under the EEA Agreement
Actual size: 130 x 70 mm.
The permit is issued as a separate laminated card,
with personal data and photo of the holder.
Period of validity is also stated.

Work permit
Actual size 58 x 83 mm.
The permit is in the form of an adhesive sticker
in the passport (or similar travelling document)
of the holder. It is filled out by the police and
states the legal basis for the permit and period
of validity.

A residence permit has the same format,
but the text is slightly different. The permit heading
is ”OPPHOLDSTILLATELSE – RESIDENCE PERMIT”.

Note: During the first half of 2004 the sticker format
will change. The actual sixe of the new stickers will
be 105 x 74 mm.
