Bjerke arbeidstreningsgruppe (BAG) in Årvoll gård organises
vocational practice in the areas of handicraft and maintenance work.

FIKEN
The FIKEN project is open to men and women who need to or want to
improve their qualifications for the job market. A basic knowledge
of Norwegian is required for participation. The project is organised
with practical job training for 3 days per week, and 2 days with
Norwegian language training. Typical job practice would be kindergarden,
grocery store, child care or care for the elderly, archive or postal
services. If you are intersted in other types of vocational training,
FIKEN can help you.
Introductory programme for refugees
The introductory programme is open to refugees who have lived 2
years or less in Norway. It is also open to family members of persons
with refugee status. The aim of the programme is to qualify participants
for a job or further education.
