The City of Oslo is divided into 15 administrative urban districts (bydeler). All citizens of Oslo 'belong' in a certain urban district. It is your urban district or 'bydel' which answers questions about housing, schhol, kindergarden and social services.

If you do not know which district you belong in, go to the District Finder and type your street address.

Below is an overview of Oslo's urban districts. All of them share the same municipal telephone number: 02 180. To see their individual websites, click on the name of the bydel/urban district.
